DORZOPTIC PLUS contains two medicines: dorzolamide and timolol. Dorzolamide belongs to a group of medicines called “carbonic anhydrase inhibitors”. Timolol belongs to a group of medicines called “beta blockers”. These medicines lower the pressure in the eye in different ways. DORZOPTIC PLUS is prescribed to lower raised pressure in the eye in the treatment of glaucoma when beta-blocker eyedrop medicine used alone is not adequate. -

Alvofer is a medicine that contains iron. Medicines that contain iron are used when you do not have enough iron in your body. This is called “iron deficiency”. Alvofer is given when: • You cannot take iron by mouth - such as when iron tablets make you feel ill. • You have taken iron by mouth - and it has not worked. -

Irrigation of various sections of the eye during intraocular surgical procedures APPLICATIONS 1) Irrigation of the anterior chamber during cataract surgical procedures as well as other intraocular procedures. 2) Removal of excess a-chymotrypsin from the anterior chamber during the enzymatic lysis of Zinn's Zonule. 3) Irrigation during strabismus surgical procedures and other external-ocular procedures. 4) Maintaining a moistened cornea during surgical procedures. 5) Irrigation of tear ducts. 6) Irrigation of the conjunctival sac after administering fluorescein eye drops. 7) Irrigation for removal of foreign bodies from conjunctival sac. -

Treatment of superficial bacterial infections of the eye, such as conjunctivitis, caused by tobramycin susceptible/suspected susceptible bacteria. -

• Treatment of urinary tract infections from Escherichia coli , susceptible to ampicillin. • Infections due to Hemophilus influenza: pneumonia meningitis, exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, media ottitis, acute epiglottitis. • Infections due to enterococci (Streptococcus fecalis): endocarditis (in combination with an aminoglycoside), urinary tract infection. • Typhoid fever (Salmonella Typhi) when the use of chloramphenicol or co-trimoxazole or quinolone is contraindicated (and since it is shown in vitro sensitivity) • Infections from groups A & B streptococcus, such as tonsillitis, pneumonia and neonatal sepsis. • Infections of newborns in combination with one of the aminoglycosides • Pneumococcus infections (Streptococcus pneumoniae) e.g. pneumonia, acute media ottitis, meningitis. Ampicillin in high doses has been found capable of combating infections from moderately to susceptible penicillin strains of pneumococcus. -

FLEELAXAT has been prescribed to you for the cleansing of your bowl (large intestine or colon) before an endoscopy, surgery of the large intestine or an X-ray. It is important that your bowl is empty so your doctor can distinguish it better. -

It is used to treat pneumonia and some infections in the skin or under the skin. Your doctor will have decided if ANTIZOLID is suitable to treat your infection.
