Metronidazole/Cooper has anti-parasitic and antibacterial activity limited to infections due to metronidazole-sensitive species: - Treatment of surgeons (eg liver abscess, intraventricular abscess, peritonitis, biliary infections, obstetric and gynecological infections) and other infections from anaerobic bacteria - Prevention of postoperative infections due to anaerobic bacteria in gastrointestinal or colorectal surgery - Serious localization of the intestine and liver.
