FLUROPTIC is used for two different purposes: • Given before and after eye surgery and laser surgery, to control eye inflammation in patients who have been recommended not to use steroids. • Given before an operation to help prevent the pupil becoming smaller during surgery. FLUROPTIC belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
